What is Scholars of Color?
It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

What do you currently do for work and/or school?: Activist, grad student, and business owner
Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: Warrior
What are you passionate about?: I am passionate about making the world a better place by giving back in any way I can.
Why is the representation of scholars of color important to you?: Representation is important because I am tired of non-people of color writing the narrative in every sphere. It's time to reclaim our power, our voice, and uplift other young people of color revolutionizing business as usual.

Anything else you would like us to know?: I want every Latinx to know that their story is unique and must be told. Whether they immigrated, survived a civil war, experienced early adversities, lack of support or understanding within their family unit, he/she/they are not alone. We are united through our language, culture, foods, and at times brownness. I encourage everyone to choose one or two ways to give back to their communities. Help your friends and families by sharing resources and supporting them, some of us do not have a family to be there for us, but we have an army of good-hearted people ready to help! Join the army. Together, ¡somos más!
